Once a fortnight a small army of volunteers turn up around 11.00am to transform Burnage Community Centre's main hall into a mini restaurant for more than fifty over 50's.
Our Lunch Club has been running for 5 years and some people have been coming since it began.
When we asked people what they liked about coming to the Lunch Club, they told us that it was being able to meet the same people each time and talking to them about ‘all sorts’.
We all like talking over a meal and it's a lovely way of getting to know people. It's also nice having someone else do the cooking for you.
If you live in or around Burnage in Manchester, are over 55 and want somewhere to go on a Thursday afternoon where you can meet nice people and have great conversations, try us out.
Our Lunch Club relies on donations so please use the donate button at the bottom of this page to help us buy the food and equipment we need to provide lunches every second Thursday throughout the year. New Paragraph

A £20.00
donation pays for the time it takes for our centre staff to help an older person get the professional support they need.
